Returns, Refunds & Exchanges Policy

At Adaptog, we take customer satisfaction seriously. 

While our products are supplied exclusively for research and laboratory use only, we aim to ensure your experience is smooth, reliable, and professional. If there’s ever an issue with your order, please contact us at support@adaptogresearch.co.uk within 30 days of delivery so we can help resolve it promptly. 

Returns & Exchanges

We accept returns or exchanges within 30 days of delivery, provided that: 

– The product remains sealed, unopened, and in its original condition; 

– The item has not been adulterated, handled, or exposed to conditions that may compromise its integrity (e.g., temperature-sensitive materials); 

– Proof of purchase is available (e.g., order number, invoice, or receipt).

Once your returned items have been received and verified, a replacement or refund will be processed accordingly. 

Please note: For safety and quality control reasons, we cannot accept opened or used research materials under any circumstances. 

Refunds

Approved refunds will, where possible, be issued to the original method of payment.  If that is not possible, we may arrange an alternative method (e.g., bank transfer or store credit). 

Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days after the returned items have been received and inspected. 

Non-Returnable Items

Due to the sensitive nature of research products, we cannot accept returns for: 

  • Opened, used, or repackaged materials; 
  • Custom or special-order items; 
  • Products requiring cold-chain or special storage handling; 
  • Items damaged after delivery due to improper storage or handling. 

Customer Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are dissatisfied for any reason within 30 days of receiving your order, please reach out to us. 
We will review each case individually and work with you to find a suitable solution, whether that’s a replacement, credit, or refund. 

Our goal is to ensure every customer has a positive experience and receives products that meet our quality standards. 

Payment Disputes & Chargebacks

If you encounter any billing or payment issues, please contact support@adaptogresearch.co.uk before initiating a chargeback or dispute. 
Most issues can be resolved directly and quickly. 

Chargebacks or reversed payments made without prior contact may temporarily place your account on hold until the matter is resolved. 

How to Start a Return

To begin the return process: 

  1. Email support@adaptogresearch.co.uk with your order number and reason for return.

  2. Our team will confirm eligibility and provide a return authorisation.

     

  3. Ship the product(s) back to the address provided.

     

  4. Once received and verified, we’ll process your refund or exchange.
